BROOKE                                              All on 4/Implant

Brooke came to us because of an ill fitting lower denture.  She related a typical traumatic dental history including early loss of lower teeth with accompanying bone loss.  With time her mandible melted away and all support for her lower denture went away as well.  She stated “I’d just like to be able to eat and my denture is fitting worse all the time.” 

We were surprised to see how gross the loss of bone was on Brook’s lower jaw.  It was completely lacking a “ridge” to support a denture.  Fortunately, a CT scan revealed adequate bone for implants.  Brooke’s existing denture was ok for temporary appliance so we could place the four implant fixtures and attach her denture allowing her to immediately chew and eat better than she could have in many years.

JACQUELIN                                     All on 4/Implant

Jacki came to us with a badly fitting lower denture and several implants supporting a temporary plastic bridge.  Some of her implants were still useful but one was a poorly positioned and failing.  It and several failing teeth were removed.  Implants were placed and a new fixed appliance immediately seated in one appointment.  We were able to equip Jacki to a complete arch of teeth supported entirely on the old and new implants.  In the process we corrected her collapsed bite and associated lower face sunken appearance.  This also diminished her TMJ symptoms. 

Now ultimately Jacki, elected to manage her failing health on the upper jaw in the same manner.  Here the classic “All on 4” procedure requested her from fight of balancing her upper denture in a mouth devoid of adequate bone contour and volume for good support.
