relatively new technique in the United States but has been done
for many years with great success in Europe. This technique
uses fewer implants that are placed at mechanical inclinations
to maximize support. Fewer implants means lower cost. The use
of angled implant placement allows us to avoid anatomical areas
that previously required bone grafting. Eliminating the need
for bone grafting saves months in healing and thousands of
dollars. As compared to the Teeth-in-an-Hour procedure, there
is no waiting for the surgical guide to be made. We could
perform surgery on Monday and place teeth later the same day if
you wish. The All-on-4/Implant option provides a comparable long term
outcome to Teeth-in-an-Hour by allowing a solid base to attach
teeth that does not have to be removed. All-on-4/Implant saves time and
money and we are excited to make this option available to our
patients.
All-on-4/Implant for edentulous
jaws is an exciting treatment procedure that take advantage of
the benefits of tilting posterior implants. This facilitates an
optimal prosthetic support for a high pressure molded acrylic
bridge that can be fabricated and functioning within just a few
hours after surgery. The protocol utilizes a simple guide for
predictable and optimal positioning of four implants (six
implants, if necessary, in the maxilla).

With the All-on-4/Implant dental implant technique, teeth is extraction and the implant post placed during the same surgical visit. A fixed acrylic bridge is fabricated and functioning within 1 to 2 days after surgery. The timeline for All-on-4/Implant dental implants is thus completed within one trip. Patients are able to opt to have the acrylic bridge converted into a porcelain bridge at a later stage.
