Dr. Johnson's Bio
Dr. Johnson served a two year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Scotland Edinburgh Mission. It was there he decided to become a dentist due to the influence of some great people he served with. Upon returning from his mission he attended the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. During his undergraduate studies at the U 0f U, his military unit was activated during Operation Desert Storm to serve a six-month tour of duty in Riyahd, Saudi Arabia. Following his military service Dr. Johnson worked doubly hard to finish up at the “U” in order to attend dental school in the fall. He entered Creighton University School of Dentistry located in Omaha, Nebraska in 1993. He had his first child in September of that same year.
Dr. Johnson worked full time while attending dental school and the little Johnson family continued to grow. Despite his hectic schedule Dr. Johnson graduated in 1997 with top scores in the nation on the Operative Dentistry portion of the national board exam. Following graduation he started a successful office and has practiced as a solo practitioner for 14 years. During this time Dr. Johnson has focused his time and energy developing a caring friendly team of dental professionals committed to providing a comfortable, stress free experience. He is especially proficient in sedation dentistry, root canal therapy, wisdom teeth extraction and family dentistry. His current continuing education focus is on the placement of dental implants.
Dr. Johnson has six wonderful children, although golf has always been his favorite pastime, he’ll be the first to admit that his game suffers from lack of playtime. But we all know- he’d rather be doing dentistry anyway, right?
